Newsletter #1 - When I Teach

DSC_0239+%281%29.jpg

When I teach, I think of each class as a tiny masterpiece waiting to unfold—the materials change—but it’s my job to sculpt the most beautiful, memorable and satisfying lesson each and every time…

A few weeks ago, I spoke about Mantra (Man=Mind,  & Tra=Vibration). We are all made up of vibrating energy. Combining Mantra, Pranayama (breath work) and meditation (even moving meditation--like yoga or walking) helps us to keep calmer and better able to handle all the punches that life throws. Kundalini refers to this as living in a higher vibration.

When we are short tempered, we say things we don’t mean.  People forgive, but they rarely forget. The record of all the words not forgotten is called the Akashic Record. So-take a moment to find space between your breath in order to keep your words off this list!

Make your mantra a good one like “I can do it!” rather than “Why me?” If you keep the good one in you’re the forefront of your mind it will cheer you on! -Go Team You!   I love Danna Faulds words below relating to finding mantra:

Self-Observation Without Judgment

Release the harsh and pointed inner

Voice. It's just a throwback to the past,

And holds no truth about this moment….

 What's needed here isn't more

prodding toward perfection, but

intimacy - seeing clearly, and

embracing what I see.

Love, not judgment, sows the

seeds of tranquility and change.
